  12.      WARNING: Certain Public Domain Screen Blankers & Mouse Accelerators
  13.               may conflict with the Buddy System's demonstrations due to
  14.               the nature of the playback process. Demonstrations are
  15.               pre-recorded mouse & keyboard sequences that can be thrown
  16.               off by programs that affect mouse movement. So, to make
  17.               sure the demonstrations play correctly, disable any mouse
  18.               acceleration. A3000 owners should not have the acceleration
  19.               feature activated in their Input Preferences. Also, Make
  20.               sure Mouse Speed = 1.
  21.  
  22.      In order for the demonstrations to work correctly, DeluxePaint must
  23.      be running in the following Screen Format:
  24.  
  25.              Lo-Res, Overscan OFF, 32 Colors, NTSC, & Load All
  26.  
  27.      Additionally, DeluxePaint should be loaded by the Buddy System,
  28.      rather than loaded separatedly. In other words, let the Buddy System
  29.      load DeluxePaint for you.  This makes sure that the default
  30.      directories for some demonstrations are correct.

  32.      SAVE YOUR WORK! The demonstrations paint on an actual DeluxePaint
  33.      screen and can alter anything you have currently created. Make sure
  34.      you save important work before going into any demonstration.
  35.  
  36. *    A requester appears before proceeding with a demonstration. 
  37.      Additionally, a requester appears to ask if you want to perform the
  38.      Set Up sequence before the actual demonstration.
  39.  
  40.      The purpose of the Set Up procedure is to reset DeluxePaint as
  41.      close as possible to its default state - as when it was first
  42.      started.  This makes sure that certain requesters and menus are set 
  43.      to conditions that the visual demonstrations are expecting. This
  44.      is particularly important after you have been experimenting or
  45.      practicing with DPaint. Otherwise, some demonstrations may not
  46.      work correctly.

  48.      Therefore you can bypass the Set Up procedure if you have not been
  49.      doing excessive interaction in DeluxePaint. For example, if you
  50.      are just viewing demonstrations you can bypass the Set Up and get
  51.      directly to a demonstration without delay.

  53.      If a demonstration appears to be malfunctioning, abort it with the
  54.      ESC and restart it - this time letting the Set Up procedure perform.
